Skateboard Cases

These cases are what happens when two innovators get together – it’s pure genius. I talked a bit about Grove above but they’ve outdone themselves by teaming up with MapleXO. Lindsay Holmes, the creator of MapleXO, has been turning broken skate decks and factory seconds into incredible jewelry since 2005.

The only downside to these completely unique, innovative cases is there were only 50 iPhone 4 cases ever made and they were auctioned off via eBay from last February until only a few days ago. 50% of the proceeds from the auctions went to the Oregon Humane Society, which is a really great way to top off such a brilliant idea that is unique and reduces the footprint of unwanted skateboards.
